Evening Light On Catherine Hill is an original oil painting inspired by one of Somerset's most iconic streets. Painted on a 6 x 6 inch canvas, this artwork captures Catherine Hill in Frome after rainfall, with warm shop lights spilling onto the wet cobbled streets, creating shimmering reflections beneath a dramatic evening sky.
Known for its independent shops, historic buildings and distinctive character, Catherine Hill has become one of Frome's most recognisable landmarks.

Hi, I’m Meg — a self-taught artist based in the Wiltshire, UK.
Art has always been part of my life, but for years I could only paint in small moments between work and everyday life. Recently, I decided to take the leap and pursue my passion full-time.
My oil paintings are inspired by the timeless villages surrounding my home in Wiltshire, and the beautiful countryside and nature that define the landscape. I also create bespoke commissions, from pet portraits to personal landscapes, capturing the places and companions that hold a special place in my client’s hearts.
